Where is GLOBE 2010 being held?
The GLOBE 2010 Conference & Trade Fair will be held in
Vancouver, BC (Canada), March 24-26, 2010 at the Vancouver
Convention Centre (East) located at 999 Canada Place.
What dates and times will the GLOBE 2010 exhibit hall
floor be open?
The exhibit hall will be open during the following times:
Wednesday, March 24th from 10:00am to 6:00pm
Thursday, March 25th from 10:00am to 6:00pm
Friday, March 26th from 10:00am to 5:00pm
What is the appropriate attire for GLOBE?
The conference and trade fair are business casual. Special events
such as the GLOBE Awards require formal business attire.
May I have access to the list of
attendees?
As a courtesy to our attendees, we do not release our registration
list.
Who will attend GLOBE 2010?
GLOBE brings together a diverse international audience of
professionals, thought leaders and government representatives from
over 75 countries who have a vested interest in the business of the
environment. Corporate executives, environmental industry
executives, government policymakers, international agencies, urban
planners, financial executives, engineers and procurement managers
will all be at GLOBE 2010 to share ideas, see the latest
environmental technologies, and take advantage of excellent
business development and networking opportunities.
What's included with GLOBE conference
registration?
GLOBE 2010 includes access to 50+ educational sessions and 200
world-class speakers, unlimited entry to the GLOBE Trade Fair with
over 450 exhibits, and admittance to a number of networking and
social events that are exclusive to GLOBE conference delegates.
Past speakers include former Prime Minister Paul Martin, HRH Prince
Philippe of Belgium, Maurice Strong, Klaus Töepfer, John Prescott,
Mark Moody-Stuart, Amory Lovins and Ray Anderson.
What is the working language?
The working language at GLOBE is English. Translation is not
provided.
COST & REGISTRATION
What does it cost to attend GLOBE 2010?
The cost of attending GLOBE 2010 will vary based on whether you
register before the earlybird deadline, whether you register as
part of a group, and how many days you plan to attend. Click here for pricing

Registration deadlines:
Earlybird deadline: December 11, 2009 (save $500)
Standard deadline: February 19, 2010 (save $200)
What is the difference between a conference delegate and
a trade fair visitor?
A "Conference Delegate" refers to someone who has registered to
attend conference sessions. Conference registration also includes
unlimited access to the trade fair, and entry to networking events
including the Welcome Reception and Networking Breakfasts (not
including the GLOBE Awards, which is paid admission).
A "Trade Fair Visitor" is someone who has registered to walk the
GLOBE trade fair floor only. Visitors are not granted access to
conference sessions or networking events.

What payment types are accepted to
register?
You can pre-register using Visa, Master Card, American Express,
cheque, bank draft, money order or wire transfer. Only cash and
credit card will be accepted for registration onsite.
TRAVEL & HOUSING
Are there any discounted hotel rates available to GLOBE
2010 participants?
Yes - GLOBE has negotiated favourable rates for select downtown
